Notes for Joannis GILSON

It is suspected that Joannis and Jeanne were married in Habay la Ville Belgium about 1737. The only information known about Joannis and Jeanne came from their children's records. According to their daughter Francica's baptismal record they were living in Ferrifodina, a commune of Berg in the canton of Mersch Luxembourg. This was in the year 1739. Peter Beaudeux was a witness at the baptismal, he was from Habay La Ville Belgium. I have found 2 other Gilson's in the Ettelbruck and Diekirch area. Nicolas and George Gilson, I have been unable to connect them as of yet to our line of Gilsons.
