Notes for Laura Beatrice DUPREL

Aunt Trix graduated from Sturgis High School in Sturgis, South Dakota in 1939. After graduation she moved to North Hollywood CA. and stayed with her sister Jeanette. Jeanette was living there with her husband Bob Braun. She lived with them for a couple of years. I met aunt Laura several times as I was growing up, she used to come up to northern California every couple of years and visit with my father Leonard Duprel. While I was taking my Marine Corps advance training in southern California I spent a couple of weekends at her and her son's Alan home. I remember she was driving a red 1957 "T" bird, which was a pretty sporty car for the times. I kept trying to talk her into loaning it to me for the weekend but she would'nt go for it. Laura and her husband Alan Feedman are living in southern California they are both retired and enjoying the good life. Her son Alan lives in in Novato California. He writes computer business programs.
