Comments: Interesting site, I have a few Luxembourger ancestral lines, all of which ended up in Albany, NY USA (1840s 1850s). Lasch and Wolff from Beafort, Echternach. Feltes, Walens and Wink from Fischbach, Mersch. Possibly Grasser from Septfontaines, Capellen.

Comments: Nelson/Narcisee was just driving me nuts till I saw that it's just a name that has been "Americanized" Now, if you can tell me how Viens is also listed as Cummings, that would help in my research also! I have my GG Grandmother, Adelaide St. Amand Lamoureux marrying a Michael Viens in 1904 abt and then they vanish! Not one a death index I've found and then someone told me that maybe I should look under the name of Cummings! what is your opinion? Thanks for your comments.. Great site!

Comments: I'm researching the name Weiler/Wiler on the East Coast. My 2nd ggfa. was Augustos F. Weiler b. 1840 Germany. Came to America between 1840-50 when misfortune struck. Something hapened to his parents and he was sent from the East Coast on one of the Orphan Trains to be put off in the Choctaw Nation, Bryan Co., now Oklahoma. I am searching for his unknown parents who may or may not have been alive after 1850. You see, all the children on the Orphan Trains were not parentless but taken for various reasons. I couldn't find your Weiler family name on your site but must compliment you for such professionalism. I hope you will consider contacting me regarding the connection you have with the Weiler Family. Thank you, Clydene.
